It is my great pleasure to be elected as the President of the Federation of Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sri Lanka. (FCCISL) at the 47th Annual General Meeting. Thank you for all my colleagues in the Executive Council as well as the Executive Board for the confidence placed in me.

“ I am taking over the presidency of the FCCISL at a very crucial time after covid 19 and at the biggest economic crisis in Sri Lanka of our life time. FCCISL has a glorious history of productive work for the benefit of member chambers and projects beneficial for their members. I take the necessary steps to support the Chambers and their members to improve their capacities in every possible way.”

In this context FCCISL, being the apex body and the business voice of the chamber movement in Sri Lanka has a specialised role to play in motivating the businesses.

We should find the opportunities during the crisis. Let’s work together to make Sri Lanka a better place for our people and for the business community.
